Support the children served by the Ghetto Youths Foundation Cornerstone Learning Center, a free community academic centre in the heart of Trench Town, Jamaica providing resources and opportunity to more than 100 young people from the community.
As Covid 19 sweeps across the globe, the young people from Trench Town are facing a great need -- unlike children in the US who have home computers to Zoom with their teachers, or kids in the UK who have unlimited online school access, these students are mostly empty-handed when it comes to continuing their academic journey under quarantine.
Enter Princess to the rescue!
In lieu of gifts for her birthday this year, Princess Booker asks you to help us reach these children.
Your donation will support the Cornerstone Learning Center students with At Home Learning Care Packages.
Each package costs $50 USD and contains:
- Math instruction book
- Reading/Writing instruction book & journal
- Pencils/pens
- Crayons
- Art project
- Interactive learning game (playing cards/Scrabble, etc.)
- Hand sanitiser
- Soap
